I owned a buggy board, that I bought used, 10 years ago and I used it for many years, I resold it after probably 5 years of use and it still had a ton of life left. When I went to get another board I tried a few newer options. I tried the Britax because I had a Britax stroller so it seemed it would fit better, I tried a Joovy because I found one used, I tried a Baby Jogger on my Baby Jogger and I tried the Englacha Cozy X rider because it has a nice seat. I am now back to the Buggy Board because nothing else compared. So my review will mainly focus on what makes this a better board.

-the connectors on the BuggyBoard are truly universal. I have used it on everything from a full size Jane Rider with an interesting wide tube frame system to a Maclaren umbrella stroller with a tiny square tube frame. I’ve even used it on double strollers. The hook pivots a full 360 degrees so can be used on uprights and axles and angled bars. And the strap system allows it to work on small or large frames. -the attachment arms are also truly universal, they adjust from only like an inch apart to the full width of the board and at any angle. Being 2 separate plastic arms vs a v shape means you can arrange it so that it sits closer to your stroller making it easier to push with it attached. -the pegs that hook into the attachment straps make for a more stable board and a quicker and easier attachment and removal. -the higher weight limit is better to allow older kids to ride once they outgrow a stroller seat -the large size accommodates bigger kids better but also makes it easier for your feet to go right under it when walking instead of kicking the wheels or having to adjust your stride -the suspension not only makes for a smoother wide but a quieter ride -the height is higher which means if your feet end up anywhere near it they easily slide under it so you don’t hit the board at all. This also puts your child up a little higher so the canopy is not in their face. But the durability really adds to the value for the cost. Purchased in March '18 before we had our 5th baby(April 1st, '18) so our 3yo could ride. Once we had our baby we were so excited to use it. Sadly it's been a huge disappointment, it's so completely difficult to maneuver with our graco modes stroller. It moves great when shes not on it. The buggy has tipped the stroller 2x too when our 3yo daughter was riding.

I've tried for the past almost 3 weeks to see if it was some how installed wrong or if there was some way to fix it to make it easier to push while our 3yo was on it, but sadly there's nothing we can do. Amanda Polematidis 5.0 out of 5 stars After reviewing several options, we decided on purchasing this since we have two kids under 5, we would be doing a lot of walking, and it was compact and would be easier to bring with us than a double stroller or two separate strollers. The Buggy board has survived several disassemblies and reassemblies. We have a Britax stroller, and it was a bit tough, but we found a way to store it in the stroller basket when our daughter preferred to walk. There is a string provided that allows you to pull it up the handlebars when you're not using it, but the board is easy enough to unclip, and we preferred just not having it in the way when we pushed the stroller. It handled really well on the cobblestone sidewalks, although it is more difficult to push. My husband handled most of the pushing when it was attached since he has longer arms and more strength than I do. He did complain about the instructions not being clear, but he had it together within 15 minutes. He was also able to install it so that we can still use the brake.

Some people complained about not being able to use it on their BOB and still lock the stroller in place. It hooks and unhooks to the stroller very easily. Great for being able to quickly pop it off to fold the stroller. My daughter loves riding on it, and makes getting places much easier. Cons: It can be a little clumsy to walk behind, but to me that is to be expected. In general my feet easily go under the board while I’m walking but I have occasionally kicked it. The following review is of my experience with the actual product: The written instructions are difficult to understand so it may help to watch a few youtube videos. Some parts are intuitive but if you're impatient to put it together, (like I was) you may mumble some not-so-nice words while you're figuring it out. ?? The wheels felt very strong sturdy and clicked easily into place. Pretty much everything on the whole board is adjustable which lends to its adaptability for so many strollers. The zip tie contraptions (that attach to your stroller) are awesome and annoying at the same time. You can loosen them by moving the front knob to the left and tighten to the right. This knob allows you to adjust the tension so you can pull the zip-tie tightly and then lock it into place. However if you loosen it too much the whole metal tightening screw that holds the zip-tie on, pops off.

which is annoying if you're trying familiarize yourself with each of the adjustable parts. Instructions say to use a tape measure so you know how far apart to make the board arms and I ignored that (much to my chagrin). Long story short.use a tape measure. You'll save yourself torturous moments of embarrassment in front of your children. The board itself is kind of ugly but despite the color patterns it seems high quality with the exception of the fat red screws (which they call pins;). According to the directions, you may have to adjust and readjust everything a few times as you assemble all the parts onto your stroller. Those red screws are not the best quality. I don't think the threads will strip but the plastic definitely seems too soft and that soft plastic moves and flattens in some sections as you readjust them to fit the parts perfectly. The weight limit on Amazon says 33 lbs.I think if my stroller was not as wide, I would certainly keep it. I like it despite my gripes. Little brother used to go in a carrier when big brother needed the stroller, but little brother is not willing anymore. Considering I bought mine open box, someone did not like it. The wheels were nice because they are sturdy and could be replaced for new ones if I burn them down. The arms come with extensions which is nice because my stroller has a large basket. My complaint would be that on the graco duomobile, it is best situated on the vertical arms, but then the dang stroller would not fold. So I had to put it on the horizontal bar which then the brackets and rotate some (for this design). The strain on plastic bits does not make me happy. But, I tried it out and I was comfortable that the plastic bits are not going to shear off and it will work. It fits great, turns great (a duo mobile is a beast to drive already). So, I like it. I wish the connector pins were metal I would be more comfortable. The wheel connectors and the bracket bolts are the only metal. Haven’t given it a long test yet, but was easy to install, FITS and feels really durable. I couldn’t find the Joovy Scooterx2 on the list of strollers it fit, so I took achance, but it does fit. Sometimes -- at the end of a long day of hard walking -- she would even sit on the board on the way back to our apartment rental. The board took a few hours to install (yes, you read that right). I would install it and then have to take my kids on practice runs to see if it fit right for both mom and dad. I will say that no matter what we did to adjust the board, my husband kept kicking it while he walked. He's 6'1, I'm 5'1. The board was especially fine on bumpy and broken sidewalks. I was worried that my daughter would fall off any time we encountered a rough patch of sidewalk or a major 'bump'.but the board was great and I found myself walking normally and not over worrying myself to be extra gentle on Mexico City sidewalks. It has made trips out much easier and allows you not to have to purchase a ginromous double stroller (!). It is really durable, has shock absorbers, and rolls really well. I've even stepped on it (carefully) just to load test it a bit. Once it's installed, it's easy to put on and take off. When it's not in use, it also has a nice clip solution that can pull it up and out of the way. The only thing I'd say that makes this a little tough is that attaching it (to my stroller at least) means i have to push the stroller farther ahead of me so i don't keep tripping on the board. Not the worst thing since it adds length to the back of the stroller but something to know when purchasing it.
