You want it to address a problem and yet its got to be emotional, it should also be casual, humour helps, it must be it inspirational, representative of your brand and who you are, creative, eye-catching and easily understood. It's a lot to ask for. But, if there were a template a formu l a, and easy to follow, step-by-step set of instructions, that would make it a lot easier, wouldn’t it. Well, that’s what this article is all about, I am sharing with you a guide that is so easy, a complete idiot will be able to follow it and make Facebook Ads that work. Ok, it is a lot of work, and it’s easy to make mistakes, but at least I can take away some of the stuff you have to think about.</p><p> As with most things image is everything. Your picture says a thousand words. You don’t have to start with the image but it always has to be top of mind. When thinking about an image, the most powerful and arresting tool you have is contrast. The E-Trade baby is a great example of contrast. Love or hate the commercials, the contrast that they create of a baby trading stocks online and becoming rich is arresting and visually powerful. Facebook ads have to be visual. They have to tell a story without words or at least create magnetism or interest around them on their own. They have to show in some way that you understand and can speak to your audience. I agree and for Facebook ads, this introduction is most powerful are when followed by a question. The things you say have to be relevant or resonate with your audience. Talk about how people feel, and how things felt, before talking about what you have found. It’s always a good idea to give before you take, and to always produce value in everything you present. Most important is the call to action. Seemingly the most difficult because it should feel natural, the call to action should cascade from the value proposition. This section has to create a sense of urgency, scarcity and even excitement about continuing a relationship with you. It has to answer the one paint point raised with the promise of a hassle-free satisfactory resolution. The call to action is a promise fulfilled and should be as thoughtless as placing your key in your front door upon arriving home, of course, you are going to open the door.</p><p> Those are basically the four bases you have to cover Make it visual Ask the question Speak to the pain points, relate Call to action In this example from Sprout Social, the ad is very visual while the first sentence identifies or relates to the audience it speaks to fig lovers directly. Notice how it addresses the pain point with a question and follows with a call to action “here is a recipe you can try.” It’s easy, it’s natural it flows. They are building value to motivate the call to action. There are a lot of options and choices you can make some can cost you a boatload of money and some can save you. The best marketing can you get you leads for just pennies on the dollar, but a lot of things have to be just right for that to happen.
