It has a warming section, which I had on my older stove but the added features on this one surpass all others. The center large cook section can be used on small, medium or large size to accommodate larger or smaller pots. The left side has a center section that can be used in connection with the round cook-top and this created an area to use a griddle on the entire side. July 29, 2014 When we remodeled our kitchen we purchased all new appliances. This cooktop has everything. Love the large 3 burners in the middle. The only burner I have ever had that would accommodate my canning pot. It also has a bridge burner. I shopped around a lot and you never saw the oversized burner and a bridge burner. So far, this cooktop has been great. I do cook a meal for my family every night, and I have had no trouble with it. The installation (mind you, my husband did it!), went very smooth. There was a roll of heat resistance tape to put under the edges, this was about the only part that could go wrong. If someone doesn't have a steady hand, it might not go on straight. However, using this tape does create a 'hiding place' for crumbs. It is very easy to clean, but just don't forget about it, or it will get gross! The cook top, can get messy, like any other flat cooking surface, and if this is your first one, make sure you find the best way to clean them (I like Bon-ami), but they send a small bottle of cleaner with it. The ONLY negative I see with this, is the removable nobs.

They are not easy to clean around, so I usually take them off weekly and throw them in the dishwasher or quick rinse them, and wipe underneath. I was ok knowing that this would possibly be a pain. I've used about every burner, but tend to use the back ones more (I have small kids and don't like using the ones up front). The warmer does take some getting used to, it takes awhile to get warm and don't plan to use it if you only need a few mins out of it - it won't be warm by then! Overall, this cooktop is exactly what I was looking for in a black, large, flat top. I have had no issues with functionality, and will probably will at the same brand again after this one dies (hopefully in 30 years). The cooktop was perfectly installed and works well, easy to clean, lots of nice cooking options. Installation of the downdraft was and is a problem.no one professional seemed responsible so I finally found a friend who invented something to hook the old downdraft to the new downdraft. July 29, 2013 Bought this to replace an older model that the glass had cracked on. Really love the bridge feature and could not find any other manufactureres that provide this feature. Wasn't sure if we would liek the knobs our other cooktop had a touch pad which could be a pain but was easy to clean. Not sure why but the black top seems to get white spots that do no wipe off easily, liked the older version with the black and white speckled top better than the shiny black.

Much better than a coil unit. I have to admit that it is quite a bit touchier than I'm used to in a cook top: have to be careful about what pots and pans you use, cleaning in more of an operation than just spray and wipe, and scratches can happen.
