I took some great shots of them while saying their vows. Very nice pictures at the beach.

Earlier, I had taken pictures of the couple on the ship. Closeups of them came out as good as a professional. All came out crisp and sharp. Other times when taking shots, I just left the camera set to Auto. It took wonderful, crisp, sharp pictures. Some years ago, I used to take photo's with an SLR which is a lot different from this camera. I wanted something easier to handle, and where I didn't have to lug around all that equipment. I think I found the right camera for me. I'm still learning all it can do. One hint. Read the manual!! I down-loaded the full manual and printed it out. The S4000 is light and has many fine features. The color balance is off and to get good results I have to custom set it. After figuring this out by experimentation the camera stopped working in July. I sent it to Fuji's 3rd party repair facility in Florida who did a good job, but took nearly a month to repair and return it. I like the camera, but I'm disappointed with it. I am about to leave on my trip and will take the S4000 with me, but I will also take my five year old point and shoot Cannon Power shot A540, which never gave any problems as a backup. It's now the end of October '12 and I have returned from my trip. I used the S4000 extensively and it took great pictures but is very slow to process which caused me to miss some shots.Please try again later. Please try again later.
