I just saw a Fuji Discovery 1000 Panorama, find of doubt it's older that 1970, but cannot find any info on it. Anyone know howwide a pano it can do, if it's dedicated or selectable. The earlier Fuji compacts in the 80's were not zooms. It has a 35-80mm zoom. The aperture is not marked on the camera. The camera came with a mask insert that fits in to the normal 24x36mm film gate and crops the exposed film to 13mm x 36mm for the panao effect. To fully open the back press gently on orange clip that holds the back where the film cassette goes. The back will then swing fully open. There were two versions of the Discovery 1000. One has a date back the other one does not. The Fuji DL-1000 is the same camera without the pano adapter. If you have a Discovery 1000 pano adapter it should fit the DL-1000. The DL-1000 was sold in Europe with and without the date back but not with the pano adapter. There was also a Fuji Discovery 975 Panoramic camera as well that was sold in America. It is the same as the 1000 - I do not know why Fuji sold it with two different names. The 975 cameras that I've seen did not have the date back but that doesn't mean Fuji never made one. It uses two 123 sized 3V batteries. Something went wrong. View cart for details. All Rights Reserved.
