RHINO tape cassettes are also available in a wide range of materials, such as flexible nylon, permanent polyester, vinyl, non-adhesive tag, and heat shrink tubes. A power adapter and a rechargeable battery pack is included with your printer. Connecting the power adapter with the battery pack inserted recharges the battery pack. See Figure 2. As temporary backup power, the printer can operate using six AA alkaline batteries. See Figure 3. See Figure 3. Charging the battery pack for the first time will take approximately eight hours; recharging the battery pack will take approximately two hours. If necessary, turn the ribbon rewind spool clockwise to tighten the ribbon. The insertion mechanism will guide the cassette into place. The tape cassette is lifted from the printer. By default the language is set to English. See Figure 1 on the inside front cover. The following sections describe each feature in detail. If no keys are pressed after five minutes, the power is turned off automatically. If the battery pack and power adapter are disconnected at the same time, some of the settings are remembered; however, the current label file is lost and you will need to reset the tape width when you reconnect the power and turn on the printer. See Figure 5. If you attempt to print the label containing text that will not fit, the excess text will not be printed. To save power, the backlight will turn off automatically after 15 seconds of inactivity.window.parent.OnUploadCompleted(201,"/images/e8210-service-manual(1).xml">http://fluffy-chins.com/text/javascript">window.parent.OnUploadCompleted(201,"/images/e8210-service-manual(1).xml

dymo rhino 6000 manual, dymo rhino 6000 manual pdf, dymo rhino 6000 manual, dymo rhino 6000 manual, dymo rhino 6000 manual pdf, dymo rhino 6000 manual free, dymo rhino 6000 manual instructions, dymo rhino 6000 manual downloads, dymo rhino 6000 manual software, dymo rhino 6000 manual user, dymo rhino 6000 manual review, dymo rhino 6000 manual online, dymo rhino 6000 manual, dymo rhino 6000 user manual.

Pressing any key will turn the backlight back on again. The backlight key acts as a toggle to turn the light on and off. The contrast changes as you select the different settings. The Caption bar can be hidden to allow more lines of the label to be shown in the display. This is very useful for multi-line labels. When CAPS mode is turned on, the CAPS indicator is shown on the display and all letters that you enter will be capitalized. The factory default setting is CAPS mode on. When CAPS mode is off, all letters entered appear in lower case. Pressing one of the Shift keys toggles the function on and off, so you do not need to hold down both keys together. When printing multiple labels, the printer pauses after printing each label so that you can cut the label. You can turn this feature off, so that multiple labels will print continuously. Colin gray 4.

0 out of 5 stars The fact that you can print on heat shrink tubing and as well as various different sizes and colored labels is amazing. You can buy a hard case for it, as well as the ability to connect it to a PC for typing larger runs of labels. There are only two drawbacks to this labeler in my opinion. It does not have a QWERTY keyboard. This is extremely frustrating for me as I'm quite used to the standard keyboard. The keys are laid out alphabetically which makes manually typing in the label quite tedious for me. Second which may not affect a lot of people but it does affect me in that it is not supported by Mac, at this time. So therefore I cannot use any of the software that comes with the labeler and have to use the awful keyboard that's on the unit.Really? It's a good quality label machine and we use it a lot, but I always get frustrated trying to type on it. The interface is a bit confusing on top of the crazy alphabetical keyboard layout. And often, we find it won't print small text on certain sizes of labels even though it's clearly capable of it -- we trick it by telling it that it's actually loaded with a smaller label and it works fine. I don't regret buying it, and it makes cabling jobs look a lot nicer (and waaay easier to troubleshoot), but man.alphabetical keyboard, that's just not okay.I bought it for a big job and have no complaints about its permormance. The shrink-tube labels. WAY too expensive. Stick (no pun intended) with the laminating labels.Thought my tape was bad and installed a different one. Same thing happen and damage my tape. Returned and got a replacement very quickly. The replacement work okay at the beginning. Charged the unit and make about 10 labels. When I try the use the unit next day I got a battery drained alarm. Maybe I forgot the charge the unit, so I charged it one more time. After charging I used one more time to make a few labels and the battery still show full.

I got the same battery alarm when I try it to use it the next day. Very unhappy, returned the unit for a refund. I own other Dymo Rhino products and never have a problem like this before. I may go to a different brand after this.It does have a cutter that is activated via button. The backlight is a nice option but I have never used it. The rechargeable battery is rather large (Capacity wise) as I rarely have to charge it. It does come with a quick guide with how to do common labels such as self-laminating, patch panels, electrical panels, etc. One con: Be careful with the casettes. Loading them is tricky as if you bunch up the tape, you will have a hard time printing. Also, if your casettes get damaged or the carbon paper becomes loose, you will then have a sticky piece of carbon paper every time you print a label. For the price it is a nice unit. The Self-Laminating feature I use more than anything. Have not tried the heat shrink. It seems well made and the functionality seems to be good. I have use an earlier model than the 6000 and liked it, but was reluctant to buy due to the many negative reviews and they may rightly be looking for some things that this unit will not perform. However right know I like it. Not sure I agree with some of these negatives, the unit does not unecessarily waste tape it has reasonable margins at each end. It would have been nice to have more built in fonts though. Other than that I am quite satisfied. The first time I tried to use this the cutter was jammed and it wouldn’t print. Called for warranty and was told I shipped it improperly. The labels will stick where other brands will not. The options on this label maker are more than I have had time to explore. The quality is well known and it lives up to the Demo Reputation.Page 1 of 1 Start over Page 1 of 1 In order to navigate out of this carousel please use your heading shortcut key to navigate to the next or previous heading.

Either way,And RHINO labels stay stuck, long afterOr you can also buy the Kit Case version which includes all of the following items. If so, I’d hope that by now you’ve heard of Dymo’s Rhino brand of label printers. They are sort of an industry standard in my circles and the company just released two new products in the past year that simplify and enhance what was already a pretty impressive line of labeling tools. Dymo has a substantial collection of products which mainly target the journeyman and professional user. The brand is also known for ensuring they have a variety of labels that will work in almost any environment. They have entry-level nylon tape, colored vinyl tape cartridges and even permanent polyester labels that can handle the elements and bumpy application surfaces. SUPPORT OUR ADVERTISERS Dymo Rhino 6000 Label Printer Features Above all, Rhino’s brand of labelers has been in the market for many years. My first encounter with them was in a print advertisement around 7 years ago (back when I still read print magazines and we had to start fires with flint and stone).

Even the physical structure of the Rhino printers was superior to products I was familiar with. Jump ahead to late Summer 2010 and I was amazed to see the new Rhino labeler products at a convention. The company released the redesigned Rhino 6000 and, for the first time ever, it was given the ability to connect directly to a PC running Rhino Connect software. To provide you with a concept of the actual development of the labeler, Dymo’s older Rhino 5000 came with a removable rubber overmold which the label printer squeezed into. On top of that, it also let dirt and debris under the rubber and kept it against the labeler. If that wasn’t bad enough, the protective shell needed to be taken off so that you could replace the 6 AA batteries. Dymo seemed to have adapted the new tool to compensate for most of the major hassles. The new rubberized overmold of the Rhino 6000 is actually affixed to the printer. This is a brilliant remedy that guards the tool against falls while it gives the label printer a good grip and allows easy access to the battery and label compartments. On the older 5000 all of the buttons were the same size, making it very hard to rad and get to the mode you wanted quickly. The former professional label leader, the Dymo Rhino 5000 label printer, had only five small label style buttons (WRAP, FIXED, PPANEL, TBLOCK and VERT). Everything else had to be accessed using finger gymnastics and internal adjustments. The revised label printers make it simpler to get where you need to go, and the larger, more detailed LCD screen gives yo a huge boost in that department as well. One other HUGE change is that each time the rear label door is opened, the tool will ask you what the current label width is, so you don’t start making labels and get an annoying message every time telling you it won’t fit the current tape size. Did we mention it resizes text automatically.

That is an awesome feature that means most people are going to be able to pick up this tool and start making labels far faster with a very small learning curve. The Dymo Rhino 6000 label printer also comes stocked with more than 250 industry symbols and terms that may be incorporated into any of your labels with a minimum amount of hassle. If you are making lots of labels, or you have a “system”, the Rhino 6000 can save more than 1000 customized labels that you can recall later as needed. It includes a single lithium-ion battery and a plug-in charger that connects directly to the Rhino label printer. For pros thinking about making use of the 6000 for prolonged jobs, the lithium-ion battery is critical. The pack can be brought to full charge in just 30-45 minutes, potentially saving you hundreds of dollars per year in batteries. The Rhino 6000 has a handy 3-bar battery-life indicator located on the backlit LED screen and there is an auto-shutoff that guarantees you won’t go through batteries unnecessarily. Because the 6000 has 2-way communication with the PC-software, you can make all of your on-site labels back at the office. Got a problem or last-minute change. Not an issue, you can update and re-send the labels via email to the on-site operator which can reload and keep working. The Rhino 6000 is Dymo’s very first label printer to support this kind of feature. Rhino Connect Dymo’s software, Rhino Connect, lets you produce labels on your computer after which you can transfer them to the printer. Rhino Connect uses label wizards to make it easy for anyone to get started. The program provides you with all the choices, such as label type, tape width, and printer options and wire thickness. Sophisticated capabilities like barcodes and automatic number sequences lets you control precisely what you want with no snags. Users are able to switch label modes by selecting the correct icon and a data editor allows you to dynamically control your labels based on type.

Because of this, it’s doubtful you’ll waste too much on misprinted labels. You just need a Windows machine to load up the free software and make it all work. If you want something a bit less to carry, you can opt for the Rhino 5200 kit. If you want to use Rhino Connect, however, the 6000 is your tool. For our testing we printed out labels for the many tool cases we have in our workshop. On an electrical breaker panel we redid the labels to compensate for a reworking of the breakers following an addition that shifted everything down a couple spaces. In all of these jobs, the Rhino 6000 labeler was easy to use, accomplished its tasks, and got the job done with a “no fuss, no muss” attitude. The Rhino 6000 is quick and given the complexity of what we were asking, it was easy to wait the few seconds it took to release a longer panel label or flag. Dymo’s labels also have their popular “split back” peel-away backing which is far easier than trying to find a corner or get the label started. They wrap easily around wire or cable. They aren’t for rough surface, however, and they are thinner than Vinyl. You can use vinyl for outdoor and color-specific uses like warning messages, wires, patch panels, and more. The colors help improve visual recognition of labels and are still easy to apply and have great durability. The labels can also be used in direct sunlight and are ideal for outdoor surfaces. The high-quality polyolefin construction results in a 3:1 shrink ratio. Just add heat. NON-ADHESIVE labels are what you want for jobs like plastic covered patch panels, standard distribution blocks, and nameplates. If you need to print a label for a holder or sleeve you can do so quickly. Made of non-adhesive polypropylene, each label is strong and stiff. Conclusion Dymo has hit it out of the park with its Rhino line of labelers. If you print labels as part of your business, there really is no substitute.

The label printer is as tough as the labels it creates and they’ve been doing it for over 3 decades. The new Rhino 6000 printer is sitting atop all other products on the market in our opinion. It’s a solid tool. You know, come to think of it, it’s the only label maker I really consider a “tool”.
