Still, the looping options which you can apply to each “slice” are very handy for doing weird things with breakbeats. Admittedly I didn’t RTFM yet, so there’s probably a way to do it, maybe a keyboard shortcut or something. From there you have various extra options such as zoom, cue, loop, etc. You need to position the cursor in the waveform wherever you want it (just click once) then choose add cue from the cue menu.Is this possible? Is this possible? It has some very nice features for a freebie, like cue-mapping or velocity-layering of samples. (These two would be very welcome in Renoise, I’m sure.) Not to mention the VSTi sampling, which is quite a unique feature. Setting up drumkits is slow, if you don’t have all the wanted samples in one folder. It's IMO an interesting news To lazt to read the manual. Would be nice and smooth to build a kit of drums from SCOPE that way. But as far as i know, u gotta have it as insert on the incoming signal-channel to be able to sample. I agree with you, its wierd that there aint many samplers today, that actually sample. It is intuitive. I like that it can automatically map a bunch of samples. Why can't I do this in the STS?http://drjihsderma.com/pics/broag-remeha-28c-manual.xml

discodsp highlife manual, discodsp highlife manual pdf, discodsp highlife manual download, discodsp highlife manuals, discodsp highlife manual free.

Emulator X is i think the best sampling sampler there is. And has really great z-plane customizable filterz. Maybe you have info i don't? Anyway, still not a problem, the soft is working like a charm. And has really great z-plane customizable filterz. I may be flamed, but I haven't been impressed by the sound of the filters (i think they are like the keyboard). Have a nice week anyway. Mehdi I don't know what you didn't love in them, but playing with different filters shape, there alot you can't do in scope if you compare with those. Using some of your older filters design spacef, like the vocal filter, you can probably get close to some in emulatorX (there's one called vowel pass for example). Maybe it's only a design thing after all. Maybe you're right, that there is nothing to brag about in those z-plane filters. I still find them pretty usefull, great sounding, and use them in my sounds. They're better than what i have in STS3000 for that matter.I know that the fx can be integrated via vst with your host app, and I know that the plugin loads as a vsti as well, but I really do think that they originally intended the sampler to be run standalone with the audio interface, to compete with gigastudio. It's also the use i intented for it at first too.More pressing for me would be to replace my bx-based scope box with something just a tiny bit more modern. What's new Download HighLife Mac Demo. Thanks, George. Would be nice though if the LFO could modulate sample start position too. I am sure there others that feel the same. Exports VSTi to WAV and SFZ formats.Listen to audio comparison. Usually most of the sounds in the vst's are originally just a bunch of samples (aif or wav files) set to certain peramiters and mapped out for you already. Usually they have velocity switching and just a whole bunch of other synth stuff going on. To do this in the NNXT you'd have to find the original samples, and then just put them back into place in the NNXT. Mapping them all out again. This would take sometime. Also I'm not sure if you can do velocity switching in NNXT. But, thats basically how you would do it. Hit me up if you got anymore questions. You would then have a static multisample of that one patch. What you would lose in terms of realtime parameter control you would win in regained processing power. It depends on the character and use of the actual VSTi patch whether this tradeoff works or not. There are tools available for this kind of work, however, so the sampling process doesn't have to be manual. DiscoDSP Highlife can multisample a VSTi patch automatically, for example.Or CDExtract or Chicken sys Translator or something? It would just take ALOT of time and dedication getting everything the way it was in the VST. To start viewing messages,I'd really appreciate any help from anybody who is familiar with either of these programs. I've downloaded and installed demos for each (both times as a plug-in for Cubase), hoping to get at least one of them working and give it a try, but have gotten stuck with each of them. -- vSampler has an awesome manual which I'm following religiously. But as a beginner, I really can't proceed without a manual or at least some rudimentary Help files, and there appear to be none. I've posted on both the forums, but they look like the kind of forums where someone might check in every few weeks, so I don't hold out much hope. Can anybody help with either of these?? Thanks very much in advance, Project GirlAlso, it rewires into Cubase too. The combo of the two programs might be a bit more than your price range though. That's actually a bank of instruments. If you click on View at the top, you can choose a different view which might make it make more sense to you. Choose Editor view. That's the view I use all the time. In this view, there are 7 large buttons on the right side. You can load a ton of instruments here and choose which ever one you want to play. Right click on a blank slot and choose import instrument. General info about this sampler. It has a built in sample editor with plenty features including beatslicing. Some areas of the interface won't respond to the double click though.Try it with a sample and you can edit a waveform the size of your screen instead of a tiny window. Vsampler is up to 16 parts multi-timbral. In the zones area, samples or beatsliced slices can be routed to different mixer channels. One instance of Vsampler could play an entire song easily. Vsampler can create soundfonts, another great feature. I imported all my Battery drumkits and turned them into soundfonts so that I could use them in Reason's NN-XT. Vsampler is both standalone and plugin. Vsampler has it's own sequencer which I know must be awesome and I should be using, but shamefully, I've never looked into it. It's there though. It's skinnable although I don't know if anyone has ever made a skin for it. That should be enough to get you going, but you definitely need to dig into the manual to understand how things work. It could be that the plug is in the wrong place in the chain, or the routing isn't quite right or something. Are the midi ins and outs set correctly?

Found the same with the 5 rule one. I've been looking to replace midi VST as much as possible with JS, so I don't spend alot of time using VST midi in REAPER and don't come across these problems as much. Maybe you can load up a copy of eXT VSTi (if you have it) chain the two in there. That should work around the problem. Regards CalebFound the same with the 5 rule one. Regards Caleb. And in the distribution there is an additional bank of presets, made by sound designers Vengeance Sounds. It is loaded into the host program as a VST tool, but at the same time it can open another VST-synthesizer and “freeze” (sampling) any of its presets, saving it as its own. In the future, you can only use HighLife bypassing other virtual tools. The number of layers is set manually at the time of freezing. I made presets for it, but due to its age and probable incompatibility with windows 8.1, its regrettably becoming a bit of a liability. I've looked around, and tried Direct Wave which comes in FL studio, but the demo version sadly doesnt do the vst sampling thing. I also tried Highlife, and it loads the JX10 into itself, but I can only see the factory presets, and theres no way to load my own saved presets. Then it dawned on me, that I have Kontakt, which I never use, except for playing the included sample libraries, and I wondered if it were possible to sample this particular sound into kontakt. I know some of you experts are probably laughing at me, as it seems like such a fundamental question, but i've been more busy trying to figure out maschine, reaktor, massive etc.and never gave kontakt a 2nd thought, but Im now thinking, if I can sample my presets, I can build a library of all my most used patches, and have them all under one roof. Is it possible to do this, and if so, is it painless, or does it take forever ?Then once the sounds are recorded, you can import them into Kontakt for triggering. If you plan to do this on a larger scale, you may want to look at some kind of auto sampling program that could automate the process for you. On the Mac, there used to be one called AutoSampler (now discontinued). On the Windows side, I'm not sure.I did a little digging, just in case no-one replied to this.I tried it with one long C3 wav, and it was ok in midrange, but once I played high keys, the vibrato sounded ridiculous.

similar to how a woman sounds like she's on helium when that one note is stretched, so I then tried dragging all the C keys over, in the hope it would arrange them automatically, but the notes ended up all over the place. Is there any way this mapping can be done easily, or is it a case of babysitting every note and telling it manually where they all must go.Beware of higher CPU usage, though (the higher the sample is stretched, the more CPU it will use). It sounds slow and tedious, and I was hoping for a quicker way, but maybe it becomes second nature after a while and could hopefully be done blindfolded. It would be nice to make an instrument that includes multisamples of all the best sounds on the synths I already own, just so I can open them up in one single VST.especially with free synths that tend to become abandon-ware, or maybe the synths that do one thing very well, and have one brilliant sound that could be multisampled and the vst archived or disgarded. But yes.I'll get a look at the manual. Thanks. Not updated for a while, but it does the job. For such a diminuitive size, it seems to do a hell of a lot. I particularly like the VST conversion option, but i'm trying out the demo, which will no doubt have that feature locked until I buy the unlocked versiuon, but definitely gonna have a good look at this.Extreme sample converter introduces a noise clip, so I'm gonna buy the full program as I think it's worth the money and I can now convert whole vst banks and just open everything in Kontakt. Many thanks Dark Star. This is exactly what I wanted.
