This is a great toothbrush with soft bristles that won't hurt you, but at the same time will do a great job of working hard to clean off plaque. This bristles are soft enough so that you can really brush along the gum line and not cause yourself any real pain. It also doesn't hurt to brush the insides of your cheeks. You won't suffer any damage or pain because of that. And the brush has a great handle that is easy to grip so that you can angle the brush so you can brush the roof of your mouth or if you want to give a really good cleaning to the back of your teeth. And this brush is built to last. It isn't one of those flimsy toothbrushes that you'll end up throwing away after only a month. It will last a good long time. You will get a great brushing every time with this brush because it was made by the experts at Colgate. I do not see a big enough difference from the manual and the electric ones. I will continue to use my electric until it goes out, but I prefer the manual ones. The Colgate Total Manual Toothbrush is a great product. It did a great job for me for years. I was able to still reach the hard to get areas and the bristles were not abrasive. I felt it was incredibly durable and liked that I was able to replace them often since they were affordable. The handles and design make it easy to use and the softness of the toothbrush brushes did not hurt my sensitive teeth. The ridges in the brushes gave me full confidence that this product was providing the protection that my teeth needed. Colgate is a trusted brand and my dentist gave me a thumbs up when he asked which toothbrush I was using. I would recommend this product to others. The handle of the toothbrush is easy to hold, and they come in lots of different colors which is always important to me! You can find the Colgate brand of toothbrush at basically any store, so it's nice that if you are a dedicated user of that brand, you will always be able to find that toothbrush. They are sold at a great price, and they are not unaffordable at all. Like I mentioned, you can often find coupons for these Colgate Total Professional Manual Toothbrushes, so they are definitely a great deal. This brush I enjoy because of the way the toothbrush is shape in order for me to grip it while brushing my teeth. The handle is designed to prevent my fingers from slipping on while brushing. Although, the handle is larger than some toothbrushes, I like the larger size handle because it also make gripping the handle I lot easier. My bristles on my brush are somewhat contoured so as to glide across the surface of your teeth and help keep the top of your teeth clean. I use a soft bristle tooth brush as recommended by my dentist. The bristles are not large in size but are relatively small compared to some brushes I have seen. I enjoy using my manual tooth brush instead of an electric toothbrush because it makes my teeth fill cleaner. Also, the handle is smaller than some electric brushes making it easier to maneuver around inside my mouth. Second, its also, strong and sturdy, unlike other models that bend the head or have unique brush shapes. The downside is that it is difficult to buy this toothbrush in stores, and I only can find it online. Then, when I buy it online, there are some times strange malfunctions with the toothbrushes from certain colors, like the plastic has not been properly chiselled, maybe the factory in brazil is doing a poor job. The toothbrushes themselves come in many bright colors. The head of the brush is nice and large and holds a lot of toothpaste, and brushes a large area of teeth at once. It fits nice in the mouth and is comfortable to hold. I especially like the little grooves on the back of the head that can clean your tongue, Great idea! I find that these kinds of manual toothbrushes still work the best, despite all the new electric toothbrushes that have fancy timers and brush your teeth for you. Colgate Total Professional manual toothbrush has very soft, fine bristles that don't hurt the gums of me or my family. With other brands, they can sometimes be rather harsh on our gums, but this is not the case with this line of toothbrushes. The bristles also last for a very long time, and do not start falling out or losing their strength. I find that these toothbrushes also clean between teeth very well, and can certainly reach and get rid of a lot of plaque. What me and my family also love so much about this is the price tag for it.
